This small or 'boutique' hotel is located in a former merchant's house in the old Jewish Quarter. Rooms open directly onto the courtyard.
The rooms are en suite and have satellite television, but are furnished in keeping with the style of the hotel.
The staff are friendly and helpful (offering a pot of tea on arrival back after a hard day's sightseeing, sending an item left in our room by mistake on to Samarkand by taxi).
Breakfast, which is served in the courtyard, is delicious (yoghurt, fruit, bread, jam, plus a freshly-cooked dish such as omelette or pancakes). The rooms were light with very nice furniture. After all the sightseeing in hot and dusty Bukhara the swimmingpool was just delicious! The hotel has a very nice and individual style. From outside the architecture of hotels shows the traditional colours of bukhara with a blue fassde and yellow brick walls. I liked it very much.

Is located in the centre near Labi-Hauz. This hostel is a big 18th century house with several finely decorated guestrooms around a courtyard, bathroom is shared and it cost $10 a person ( you can bargain)
Mubinjon is a strange man, we enjoyed our stay there but last time we saw him, he was a little depressed and somebody told us that the guesthouse was closed.So maybe the gusethouse is now closed, maybe open....mubinjon is like that.

Hotel Nodirbek is a new B&B situated behind the tourist office right in the centre of Bukhara.
A double room, with air con should cost between $15-20 for two people depending on the season.
Breakfast is included in the price and is very large and you cna eat many fresh local foods.
What I have said above is good but teh best aspect is the staff.
Mira looks after all the guests and makes sure everyone is happy. He speaks excellent English.
Amin is a guide affliated with the hotel. He also speaks excellent English and knows more about Bukhara and Uzbekistan than anyone else. He is often there so he is a very interesting man to talk to. He is also the best guide in Bukhara and I encourage people to try his services.
The owner is really trying to get this place moving and at the moment he sleeps in the courtyard with his family.
One morning at 3am when Mair was sick the owner and Mira drove us to two different hospitals and also stayed with us for many hours interpreting and making sure we were okay. In the evening Amin caught a bus down to the hospital to give Mari some flowers and check she was okay.

We arrived in Buchara in the middle of the night and this hotel was the only one who opened its doors for us
No much choice
The man asked 15 US $ per person. For a few hours, that seemd me too much. We agreed for 20 for 2 people.
Small room, very good beds and a splendid private bathroom

The female owner (Nazira) speaks very good English and let us have the room for 10 US $ per person. She promised us the best breakfast in Buchara.
Typical Uzbek hotel with rooms around a nice courtyard. Very clean room, not big, color Tv, airco and spotless private bathroom.

Very pleasant modern private hotel. The rooms were very clean, large, with private bathrooms. I would definitly stay there again.

Mubinjon's B&B is probably in one of the nicest house of Bukhara - traditionnal rooms in this 18th century building, 3 minutes from Labi-Hauz...
But I didn't enjoy my stay there, as I found Mubinjon to be quite rough to us, trying to sell some traditionnal stuff (it would have been OK if not THAT pushy)...
We were only two in the hostel at that time, and I felt like he was just looking too much after what we were doing - in not such a thoughtfully attitude...

somewhat spartan rooms, but FULL of charm
Earthier, more traditional and cheaper than most other optioins(USD 10/head), the Tajik home of former Olympic table-tennis player Mubinjon has rooms with mattress beds set around a nice small courtyard.
