The hotel is simply the best for Indian type.

2star Hotel: Grand Orzu

The hotel is located both close to the center and airport. I really enjoyed staying there and in my opinion this is one of the best options for staying in Tashkent for offered price.

Dedeman hotel: VERY NICE !!

EXCELLENT, awesome bar and people were very nice and helpful, i really have no complaints except the rooms seemed kind of small.

The meridian: Nice and fairly cheap

Was pretty good, food is VERY CHEAP !!! as well as the drinks. but lots of women of the night in the club at the hotel.

Radisson SAS Tashkent: Next to International Business Centre

I spent one night in February 2007 on my business trip on the way to Bishkek form Dushanbe. It was built in 2003 and it is Northern European design hotel with reasonable services and facilitation of the room, actually comfortable room design and size, and it is located next to International Business Centre.

100 rooms are available and Facilities at room are quit comfortable such as bed, business desk, chair and desk, ceiling height, etc. Height of chair to business desk is rather low so you might need to have a cushion on the chair which is brought from the bed.

Fruits and a mineral water are provided as welcome you at your room. It is available internet connection via LAN cable as well as Dedeman Hotel with inclusively. Pool is superb according to local people's comment.

Room charge was increased double, it has gone to beyond my budget, so it is not so easy to afford to stay at this hotel.

Unique Quality: It was nice room design for business with comfortable and high quality furniture (not detail), comparatively large room.

Dedeman Hotel Silk Road Tashkent: Acceptable Hotel in Centre

I spent several nights from beginning of February to March 2007 on business trip. It was called Dustlik Hotel and renovated as Dedeman Hotel in 2003. It is reasonable category in Tashkent and centre location. Pool, sauna, gym are included while room size, most rooms which are facing to the road side, is rather small with reasonable facilitation. Non-smoking rooms and floor are available.

Internet connection is available either at room via LAN cable and at lobby via wireless LAN with free of charge.

Regarding Air condition, it is rather hot and difficult to control it. So I opened window sometime. It is reasonable bath room quality.

Receptionist, female, it is Russian only (not now). I did not much explore the hotel at night, e.g. cafe, bar, restaurant. There is night club called Gust next door. (renamed to as King's Club)

[update]
Again I stayed at Dedeman Hotel in Feb 2009. Room rate was increased from this year by 30% compare to that of 2007 and their service level decreased. But room charge of other hotels in Tashkent were also increased so it was no choice. I am not satisfied with this room charge and service level. but I should change my mind.

Unique Quality: It is provided internet connection while connection speed is lower level (acceptable), and there is indoor pool with comparatively larger size. It is free for hotel residents.

Hair Salon, I tried to cut my hair in the hotel and I did not expected certain level but the result was more than my expectation, it is worth. They charge USD20 or local currency equivalent to exchange rate at black market.

Elena Hotel: Private Hotel

I frequently stay at this hotel, whenever I visit Tashkent. It is a small (30 some rooms) and the quality of the service and friendliness of the staff excellent

Unique Quality: Internet space, 24 hour bar and food, in-house bank, laundry service, electronic safe in all rooms.

Domina Shodlik Palace

I didn't stay in this hotel , I just work here for the present time, and though I know that this hotel will be too expensive for a usual tourist, I would like to share information about it.
The hotel meets all service requirements and quality standards at an international level.

Unique Quality: All rooms are equipped with necessary things.
To guest's service there are two restaurants, one of which is restaurant “Gallery” that is an upbeat venue for social gathering, with live piano & saxophone dinner music. It is rather perfect for elegant occasions with its stylish, contemporary décor and Italian touches.
Wonderful bar, sauna, conference hall and etc is also at the disposal of the guest's.
Hotel is located at the business and cultural core of Tashkent.
