Chau Long Sapa Hotel: Hotel in Sapa

The brochure looked a lot better, but then again, we were just glad that the hotel was clean -- as you can tell by the sign on the toilet. Rooms and bathroom were clean, thick, warm blankets, and electric heaters.

Hot water in the bathroom at all times, but, like most hotels outside the big cities, just don't expect the water temperature to be constant throughout your bath -- listen for noises as indicators that you will be suddenly scalded or chilled! hehehee ;)

Unique Quality: There is a breakfast area in the hotel, where you can order from a varied menu. Service might be a little sluggish if the hotel happens to have a large tour group. After check-out time, if you still have time to kill, the staff will let you leave your bags in this room on the ground floor, so you don't have to lug it around. We got this hotel as part of the hiking package, so the price was super reasonable.
