Sun & Sea Hotel

So good we went back for a whole week

Friendly, child friendly.
We stayed for three days, then went to sapa and nin bin, on our return a hurricane had blown through the middle of the country so all flights were grounded.
We went back to Cat ba, we looked at many many other Hotels, just for something different, then went back to Sun and Sea Hotel.
The hotel is clean,quiet friendly and only a short plesant walk from the main coastal area.
The Manager looked out for us with the local shop keepers,so we had fair prices.
All the staff were kind and patient with my 5yr old "The Only Hotel Staff" that were in the whole of Nth Vietnam.
The only Hotel that did not push me to go on guided tours/ which they get a commishion on, instead
The owner helped me get a fair price on a scooter each day and some good advice on where to go and good maps, A great trip was the Nth Viet Cong Hide out/Hospital, that the Americans never found " A Must See for Cat Ba".

Sun and Sea was so good this is the only Hotel I bothered to review after a month in Nth Vietnam

Unique Quality: The Owner and the staff are the outstanding attributes at this hotel, the rooms are spacious, the balconies are spacious, The staff are not pushy, polite helpfull above and beyond the call of Duty,
we were made to feel at home daily.
