Money stolen from the room
During our three week holiday in Vietnam we stayed at Duna hotel for three days. The location is excellent, in the middle of Saigon. The rooms offer reasonable quality for the price. That is, if you don't count the 120 US Dollars that were stolen from one of our backpacks. Fortunately, we didn't keep any other valuables in the room. It can only have been stolen by staff since the room was locked and we left the key at the reception.
The hotel is closed early every night and it's a hassle to get in. Also, we booked one trip to Cu Chi at the travel-office in the hotel and were happy with that, so we decided to book our traintickets to Hoi An there as well. We later found out that Duna's travel office had sold us cheap reservations insisting they were expensive (soft-sleeper) tickets. Once you find out at the train station, there's not much you can do. Duna was by far our worst hotel-experience in Vietnam. So, not recommended, and there are plenty of good alternatives nearby!
Unique Quality: Its good location in the centre of Saigon, and the proximmity to all the highlights in Saigon.
