Good hotel in a perfect location.
The Kim Do hotel is smack in the center of Saigon.
It´s a very good 4 star hotel with excellent rooms and quite good facilities.
The lobby is nice and there is a small cafe next to where you have a good wifi connection.
The restaurant is also nice with lots of elbow room.
The rooms are quite big with really nice beds and i have had a good sleep there the 3 times i have stayed at the Kim Do.
Reception staff can be a bit on the slow side at times, but the main problem lies with the mangement of the reception so i hope that will change soon as i will be going back there again soon.
But all in all this is a good choice if you want a nice hotel right in the center of the city.

Right in the Heart of it
Very nice hotel, first place in Vietnam we stayed.
Right in the heart of district 1. Walking distance to most attractions in the city.
Surrounded by great restaurants.
Great service, good rates very friendly people.
Unique Quality: Has a very small pool. Good luck finding it. Took me asking 5 different people b4 I could locate it. Might be worth while after a long day walking in the heat.
Very nice rooms. Nothing wonderful, but nice neat good for the price.
Book all our tours from the front desk, very good rates.
Breakfast is quite good. Something for most people to choose from.

Oldies but Goodies !
The Kimdo Hotel is an old, but convenient and likeable hotel thanks to its efficient and friendly staff, good restaurant, perfect downtown location, and absolute cleanliness. The hotel was built nearly 100 years ago, and had a renovation in 1994. A good restaurant and a well equipped bar are only two of the many amenities, the hotel has to offer.Food was excellent, the breakfast-buffet fabulous.
Unique Quality: in the center of action, but nevertheless a quiet haven

Value hotel
We stayed in the hotel from the 12/9/05 to 18/9/05 and had a very enjoyable stay.
It was clean , comfortable and quite.
The bed was very hard , but was very happy when they added a foam layer ontop without having to chase them up several times as we have experienced in other hotels.
We requested a non-smoking room and actually got one and it was a genuine non-smoking room.
I was surprised also to see they were exchanging at the front desk at the same rate as the banks.
The pricing on the room service was very good and of good quality.
Unique Quality: The best feature of this hotel is its location, we walked every where, 10 mins to the markets.
