VTers who have stayed here before have given a low rating for this place because of the street noise that goes on through the night and early dawn. I don't know, I stayed at the second floor and right at the hotel's front at that but I slept like a baby. Or maybe I was just too dead tired to be disturbed by the noise? Anyway, the room was very comfy. The bathroom was a bit small, just don't jump when you're in the tub or your head might hit the ceiling! The breakfast buffet was sumptuous (which was included with the room), they had complimentary wifi access in the room but if you don't have a laptop you could use their PCs right beside the reception. Their lunch buffet was also reasonably priced and featured local cuisine.
If you wish to tour the city sights on foot, the hotel is located quite near to them. The Notre Dame and Post Office is about 3 blocks away, and from there you could work your way on to the Reunification Hall, Ben Thanh market, city hall, etc. Since you'll be tired at the end of your tour, you can just take a cab or xe om back to your hotel which will be just a few mins. drive.
