Have now stayed twice in this hotel, very close to the backpackers quarter and 5 mins walk from Cho Ben Thanh market. The reception leaves a little bit to be desired but the rest of the place is very, very comfortable. Rooms are very good and large and there is a terrific buffet breakfast waiting for you in the morning.

Unique Quality: This hotel has a nice bar called Lido Bar. Its a pretty upscale place with pretty bartenders. Whats really cool about this place is that the bartenders are fun and outgoing. The bartenders like to play a game of dice with you, the loser gotta drink as...and these bartenders cant drink for nuts!!! Price is more expensive than the average bar but still cheap by developed nation standards.

It's a nice place and staff are OK. I wouldn't stay in the standard rooms but would in the Delexue rooms as they are worlds apart for only a few more dollars. Good view. Very comfortable in the lively section of Siagon where there's more action than the City.
Need help, I'll be arrving in HCM City on Nov. 16 and departing on Nov. 19; which is the better hotel in location for shopping, dining and entertainment; Metropole, Oscar or Que Huong (Liberty 4)? The three have similar prices. Is it possible to go to Nha Trang overnight? How many hours travel? Which is best, plane, bus or train? Thanks in advance for you assistance>
Are you arriving early morning on the 16th and leaving late evening on the 19th?
Oscar is the right in the heart of D1 so would say thats the best. Nha Trang overnight? you mean go for one night?

Arriving 2:20 pm on the 16th and departing 3:30 pm on the 19th.
Yes, overnight in Nha Trang.
You could do it if you fly early morning flight up there then last flight back the next day (Train is 8/9 hours so that's out)
