Three stars = right price and good location

Had a 5 night stay in this hotel near the Ben Tanh market in May, 2007. Fantastic value for a clean, but small hotel. The dinning room and foyer were great, as was the location in District One. Easy to walk to most central tourist spots.

Our king sized room was clean and neat with sufficient services to make our stay pleasant. The room featured colour TV with heaps of channels to choose, a mini bar with great beers at around AUD$1.20 each, king sized bed, air conditioning, and a small but sufficient bathroom. We got breakfast thrown in for the price as well, and this was a full buffet style with lots of choice.

Unique Quality: Location at a good price. Our stay cost around US$50 a night for a king sized room with breakfast included. Add to this the cost of room service, laundry and mini bar, which were all rediculously cheap, and you can have a great stay in reasonable comfort for quite a while. You even get free internet access.

The staff were very friendly, especially the doormen who go out of their way to assist with getting taxis and fixing the fare (in a fair way!).

Comfortable and Good Service

Check-in was promptly done. No waiting at all as I arrived around 1700 hours Vietnam time.

Staff are friendly and always there to entertain to your queries. The 'door guard' will run to open the door for you whenever you go in and out of the hotel.

Breakfast was OK. Though I ate bread only -religious limitation- everybody else seem to enjoy. The local fruits are the must-eat dessert .

The superior room I stay has no tea/coffee making facilities but the room service will send a flask of hot water...say within 3 to 5 minutes of request......Yes that fast!

Laundry service is available at a reasonable price. The most expensive is less than 2USD/item.

Very near to the shopping area 'Cho Ben Than' - just next door, less than 5 minutes walk. The road between the hotel block and the market is transform into a dining area. So going for dinner is not a costly event...
