Faded but genteel
I stayed in Riverside Hotel on two brief occasions, during a recent business trip to Vietnam, followed by a holiday there. The hotel is best described as faded, but it is comfortable and clean and well situated on the Saigon River riverfront.

Magnificent hotel with nice poolarea
We were there in 2001. The service was inpeccable. The lobby area has a very nice atmosphere, whith nice coffe area and live classic music playing. The staff is nice. The rooms are very nicely decorated, good tase and just perfectly entertained by the maids.
Unique Quality: Very nice hotel.

Great location and Value
This was a great place to stay as the hotel was a great value and the location excellent.
We went with one of their executive packages which included...
a nice room with a view
morning breakfast buffet in the exec lounge
afternoon cocktails in the exec lounge
all day snacks and espresso in the exec lounge
2 items of laundry per day of stay
newspaper, etc.
$130 a night. We even lucked out and got a corner room with a fabulous view of the Saigon river and lots of space.
We would definately stay here again so book with confidence.
