Great Hotel

The hotel staff are very helpful and they get out of their way to help you out. Amenities is okay I guess. But during our stay, it was a bit noisy since there was some construction going on.

Food is also good at the restaurant (... coffee shop something....).

I have to commend the staff at Bora Bora restaurant, they are the best. Super honest.

Reasonable hotel in Hanoi

Large rooms - one double bed and one single bed in each room. Bathrobes, bedroom slippers, in-room safe & mini-bar were provided in all rooms

Lobby was okay, lifts were tiny and could barely fit 3 of us with our luggage.

They turn off the lobby lights at midnight, so if you get back past midnight, be prepared for it to be dark.

Check-in: They will ask for your passport and inevitably take a long while to key in all the details into their computer. Our group of 21 people took about 45 minutes.

Unique Quality: Indoor swimming pool-opens till 9.00 pm so I missed out on swimming there because we had arrived too late.

The complex which houses the indoor pool also comes with a sauna and massage facilities. Room guests may use the sauna for free.

The breakfast room was rather small, and it was crowded during the peak time with different tour groups there at the same time and the breakfast was nothing fancy-however, the beef noodle soup "Pho" was quite tasty. There was also a chef there preparing fried eggs in any style - your choice.

Location is quite good-only 6km from the Old Quarters. Taxi costs between Dong 30,000 (US$2) to Dong 50,000 (US$4) to town from the hotel.

Air-conditioning didn't work in all rooms although the air con in my room was fine.
Couldn't understand why they gave out only 1 key-card per room, although there were two to a room for our group.
