Bait & Switch - stay away

Bad (2.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on July 6, 2008

This is a chain of 3 or 4 hotels with the main one(clearner&newer looking) used as the BAIT. The main hotel clerk took our reservation 2 days before. The reservation was confirmed the day before arrival. ... When we showed up at the hotel the hotel manager had already rented out our room for more $$ and after much discussion... sent us to the other hotels(smaller¬ as clean ones) of the chain.
This hotel repeated the same bait&switch BS with my daughter a few days later.

so if you can get a room here by walk in do it.
DON't BOTHER with making RESERVATION with them (unless you willing to pay premium price for it).

Unique Quality: BAIT & SWITCH reservation system

We stayed at Camellia 4 right in the middle of the Old Quarter. While the location was excellent we were not entirely happy with our room.

The good things: location room large, free internet, satellite TV with an Aussie channel.

Not so good: cleanliness of room, ants, run down nature of hotel, breakfast unappetising.
