The Hotel appears to be brand new and offers spacious rooms with a spectacular view over the city of Hanoi.
A positive aspect is also that it is close to all areas of interest, the touristical, business and diplomatic regions of Vietnam's capital city.
Unique Quality: All facilities of a good 5 star hotel are offered here.
Rooms are spacious and all top floor rooms offer access to broadband internet.
The hotel offers several restaurants which offer excellent choise of food.
Only damper - the service needed to be improved. I found it difficult to communicate with staff since hardly anyone could speak English.

wonderful, simply the best I proved, in a very comfortable suite at the 15th floor, lake view, flowers and chocolates on my bed at night...and people as kind as ever, i really enjoyed my stay even if i was there for business and I stayed only a little into the hotel...very luxury accomodation for only 90 USD, in italy it would be the price of a very bad little room....people at the daewoo hanoi are very kind and always there if you need anything...go there...

Hanoi Daewoo Hotel, a Five-star hotel worth it's rating. The Hanoi Daewoo caters to all its customers, and even smiled at me, a white yan guiza with long hair, a beard, and a bandana. Quite diplomatic!
Quite expensive! Clean, 5-star interior, with any service you could want... until 10 pm!
We are thinking of travelling next July to Vietnam. Can anyone suggest some 4 - 5 star places that are resorts, rather than hotels. Travelling with two kids 6 and 3 and want something suitable for them. Big pool and all the services, room service, kids club etc.
Also something that you can walk out of the resort to restaurants and markets.
I don't know if this place exists in Vietnam as have never been there, but hope to get some feedback and suggestions on what we are looking for.
We stay in Dynasty in Bali and Le Meridien in Phuket to give you some idea of what we are looking for.
Seeking to discover a new part of Asia and not sure where to start.

Hi there a lots of places here very kids friendly, while maybe not being up to Thai standards in terms of cost for value they are very good.
Really depends where you want to go in Vientnam

Hoi An Palm Garden Resort. great beaches and resort. if you go to v/nam double check its star rating as they all lie about this. palm garden is 5 star but not by our rating. look it up you will not be disapointed.i stayed here 6 days. grumphy

Halong: Halong plaza or staying in good junk like Bai Tho or Huong Hai
Hoian: Palm Garden resort
Phan Thiet: swiss village resort
Danang: Furama resort
