on May 24, 2007The room was like any other 4-5star hotel room, with TV, attached bath with shower and tub. Coffee/Tea making facilities with overpriced minibar (but that ain't a problem, just buy your own beer and put in the minibar). Equiped with a mini safe where you put your passport for peace of mind. However, since Hanoi is a little climatic and claims to have 4 seasons a year, the airconditioning comes with heater and cooling finctions. For some reasons, the airconditioner wasn't working well. I had to set it to coldest tempreture at the highest fan speed and still slept without clothes on, in order to sleep.
Overall, a good experience, but location off town center quite a bit. Surrounded by hardware shops and some sports shop in the back which is where the stadium is. Within 5min walking distance is a small supermarket where you can stock up on your beer and booze.
