This is a Hotel to Avoid

Terrible (1.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on December 4, 2015

We stayed here for one night in Nov 2015 enroute from Sapa to Ninh Binh. Our room was very old, tired and bleak. One fluorescent bulb in the ceiling, no windows, old furniture, very worn bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price but was very, very minimal, one egg and tea or coffee, no toast or bread or juice or fruit. I do not recommend this place. It is beyond me why this place is so highly rated on Tripadvisor.

Unique Quality: It's a dump.

Stars Hotel

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on December 20, 2005

Price: My very warm welcome to Vietnam. 10$ for a very nice room. Includes a fancy room + bathtub, full breakfast and free internet services. Excellent value. No elevator, some rooms have nice balconies, but don`t stay on the top floor.

Location: The old city, 5 minute walk from everything in the center.

Includes- A clean room with a big bed, Aircon, Fridge, hot shower, cable TV (HBO, Starworld etc.). All hotels offer booking and laundry services, but it might be cheaper and better outside. Prices may vary depending on season
