Quality staffs
EXCELLENT staff! We stayed here 3 days 2 nights, and the excelled point for this hotel is the quality of the staff. All the communication via email was prompt reply and efficient. The Front desk
Office staff provide much local knowledge in advising and mapping our particular requests for something or somewhere. The room was clean and big with those complimentary fruits and drink.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Get a rest in the room now....
We stayed at the SHH for 2 nights earlier this month and had a very fantastic experience out there. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and free internet in your room. This hotel room sofa is comfortable, every morning woke up I will read newspaper. I’m quick satisfying this hotel sofa. The staffs were very helpful, especially welcoming us back after a visit to the Halong Bay even though we only wanted to drop our bags there for a few hours.
Unique Quality: The hotel available spa, fitness center, jazz bar and etc.

Sunway Hotel
Located in the heart of Hanoi city, the Sunway Hotel, is close to the main tourist attractions, a 20 minute walk to Hoan Kiem lake. Apparently the Sunway Hotel, is the only hotel in town which has drinkable tap water! The hotel has a nice lobby area with a small bar, and a very good quality retaurant serving a variety of Vietnamese and international dishes. Our rooms were clean and well appointed with standard decor. The views from the rooms weren't very picturesque but were still interesting.
Unique Quality: The hotel is a calm oasis of luxury in this bustling city.

Business hotel in quiet residential area
Exotissimo Tours booked us at the Sunway Hotel. The Sunway Hotel is a 143-room business hotel rated 4-stars located at the fringe of the Old Town in a quiet residential district. In terms of location, it is a bit out of the way. Its website says that it is a mere 10-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. In reality, a 10-minute taxi ride is more likely.
For a hotel commanding this price range, one could get a better located hotel. Unless you are travelling on business, I would not recommend using this hotel to the tourist.
Unique Quality: The room is small with a double bed. The bathroom only has a shower and no bathtub. The Vietnamese lady who attended to my check-in was rather curt and business-like, quite unlike the warm Vietnamese hospitality that I had expected. When I asked to change a 100000 VND note into two 50000 VND notes, she seemed to do so grudgingly.
The saving grace of this hotel was the doorman, who promptly offered to carry our luggage upon check-in and to give instructions to the taxi driver to take us to our destination.
