Parachuting
Like almost in any water resort these days, also you can have some fun with the water parachuting. Just be aware that sometimes the winds are just too strong for doing it safety so it is not always available.

What is the simplist way to travel from Ho Chi Minh airport to Novotel Phan Thiet. Is there any taxi/cars or buses that leave the airport going straight to Phan Thiet. Do I need to go to the city to the bus station? If so do I need to book ahead or just buy a bus ticket when I get tothe bus station. I land around 10.30 in the morning so I think I will be out of the airport around 11.15am. Can someone suggest easiest option and booking method.
Thanks James
James, there are a few companies doing Open Tour buses from HCM to Mui Ne (Phan Thiet) for US$5 - $9. However, I do not know whether you can get an airport pick-up so you may need to grab a taxi to the bus station; it won't cost much. There are buses that leave at 1pm and also 3pm (Sinh Tourist has the 3pm). Its about a 4-5 hour trip depending on traffic. If I was you I'd book it online which is easy on the Sinh Tourist site. You may also be able to book by email or phone and pay when you turn up but I'm not sure on that.
Agree with Stepwalk. For you to book bus online : thesinhtourist.vn
You can contact me at volunteer.scounting1@gmail.com if you need airport pick-up service.

As we drive along the coast the scenery gradually changes .It becomes very arrid with scrubby shrubs and soon we come upon massive white sand dunes. It reminds of scenes fromthe Egyptian desert!
We climbed only a short way as the sun was beating down and the going got tough.
Braver (younger) visitors explored the big dunes with buggies and some even slid down on plastic boards.
Mui Ne has been billed as being an off-the-beaten-path destination. But I think the guide books have have not caught up with the fact that hundreds of backpackers and travelers come here every week. It is only about a 4 hour bus ride from HCM or NhaTrang. (about 200km east of HCM).
In my opinion, it is no longer an off-the-beaten-path place, but it still is very laid back, relaxed and good for a quiet weekend.
I came here from Ho Chi Minh (Saigon).
