We wondered what the wonderful white fleshed fruit with the black seeds was .We had never tried it before but it was on our breakfast buffet each morning .Here in the Mui Ne area there are fields and fields of the bright pink cactus fruit with the sweet white inside. It is called Dragon Fruit.
If you've never been to desert than you have a chance to taste the feeling of it right near the tropical beaches of Phan Thiet! Go and have a look! It's amazing and you can also slide down from the dunes with the plastic sheets offered by the local kids!
This is one unique and popular site, the Fairy Stream. It is just by the village of Mui Ne and require just a short walk, be sure you are with shorts and barefoot, as it is just comfy to walk by the stream...
Phan Thiet and Mui Ne are basically the same destination. Phan Thiet is the biggest town in the area, but Mui Ne is where you're going to end up. Mui Ne is a beachside town with numerous resort-like accomodation.
