  • Lat year I took my family to Furama for vacation. Upon check-out we noticed that a charges for telephone were over $US 500. WOW!!! These were a local calls to a Mobil phone in VN that last over 8 hours.
    After review the charges carefully, these phone calls ware made when we out sight seeing, having lunch, dinner....Nothing make sense. We called the Mobil phone in VN to clarify if anyone talking to him over the phone from our room, of course there is NONE. Beside he said his Mobil battery could not last more than 1 hr of talk time.
    After 1/2 discussion with the cashier, the hotel manager came out and talk to us. Again, he insisted that these calls were made from our room, I have to explained to him once again. Another 1/2 hour went by, he finally agreed not to charge us on these calls.
    Lond story short, we missed our flight, spent a night at the Sandy Beach Hotel, service is much better here and the hotel manager is much smarter.

    the resort is probably the best one in da nang at the moment.
    it's located by the beach and some rooms has view to the beach and some to the garden.
    it has 2 swimming pool and wireless internet connection is avaiable at the lounge.
    the restaurant has asian and italian cuisine and the staffs are very friendly.

    it has sushi for the breakfast!!

  • They're not staffed for dinner as most patrons go to town for their meals. The service at dinner was the worst during my 3 weeks stay in VN . Never saw much of our waiter so simple tasks such as getting another drink took some more efforts than warranted at this 5 star resort.
    Service at the included breakfast buffet was good however.

    The greatest resort you can find in Danang which is far from the city centre about 7 km. Lovely and quiet beach, with a great accommodation.
