This is a nice, unpretentious little hotel just a couple of doors from the beach. Our booking for a 3 bedded room was given to someone else, an e-mail mix-up. So we got a room with one double, and one single bed. It was however, a better room, facing the street with a balcony, and we could see glimpses of the ocean through the trees. Room 201. Cost was US$22 for the room, would normally be more than this, but they let us have it at the same price as one of the rooms with no view as they mixed up the booking.
Make sure you book in advance, they seem to fill up quick.
Very nice staff, they will book day trips for you. Free internet, breakfast included in the rate. Nice little bar on the street.

We had a fabulous stay at the Novotel. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and had fabulous views of the beach. Do ask for a beachfront room though...at first we were given a room on the side of the building, which still had views of the beach, but you had to be actually sitting on the balcony to see it....from the other rooms you can see it even from the bathroom! They were quick to change us when I let them know I was a little dissapointed.
The staff here are all wonderful. They really do go out of the way to be helpful. Standouts were the guys who worked on the door...they are so welcoming and cheerful it's hard to drag yourself away and go up to your room...
The pool is quite small, but who cares with the beach across the road. The spa is a bit expensive, but they do a good massage.
The restaurant does excellent dinner buffets at ridiculously cheap prices, and breakfast is delicious and filling.
We got a great deal when we stayed there ($70AUD) as they had only recently opened, but there is so much available accomodation in Nha Trang that I'd bet you could get a good deal pretty much any time!

It was a pleasant stay except that there is no lift but the seaview from our top floor room or balcony is worth the climb.
Our quad-sharing room costs us US$22 per room per night. We stayed in room 401 for 2 nights there from 19 to 21 July 2006.
The hotel offers basic amenities with cable TV. The room was clean and comfortable.
It is a good budget choice close to the beach.
Nice seaviews from the upper floors.

I stayed in La Suisse Hotel during the weekend after Tet, and they had increased their rates accordingly. Hotel rooms were hard to find in Nha Trang that weekend and those hotels that had any vacancies were all jacking up their prices.
Anyway, it was a really nice hotel and the room was spacious and comfortable.

i stayed at the blue star hotel for several days and found the staff there to be the freindliest i came around in vietnam.
