do they have sea sports(jet skies),in December or is the sea to rough for it.Do they have these facilities in Nha Trang beach or do you have to go to the island.how do they charge.apart from the beaches and seafood anything else nice in Nha Trang?
There is lots of sea sport in NT and they do charge. Apart from the beach there is the Cham temples and of course the night life. If your there over xmas then Sailing Club should be organising parties

Nha Trang is well on the way to becoming another Phuket or Pattaya get there while it is still relatively untouched be multi national developers. Already it is a little more expensive than other parts of Vietnam. It is well worht the visit now as the beaches are abso;lutely beautiful. It is a fun beachside holiday place.
Ba Ho Falls is a nice day excursion out of Nha Trang. There are 3 waterfalls and natural pools for swimming. Most hotels will be happy to arrange it for you. For the more independent and adventurous, rent a motorbike and head there on your own. It's about 20 km north of Nha Trang
The diving is pretty good here but not the best. However, it is a very good place to learn to dive. You can see squid, schools of fish, moray eels, coral, etc. Rainbow Divers are the best as they keep their equipment up to date and have top notch people in charge. Very reasonable rates with $35 US for a try dive ($50 for 2 try dives) and somewhere around $200 US for a full course.
This restaurant has everything you could possible wish for at a very reasonable price...the seafood is particularly tasty with everything on ice for you to choose your dish. My favourite was shrimp cocktail and then chicken with cashew nuts..
