The street life
by iwys
The streets of Nha Trang, especially in the market area are always lively and interesting to walk around, but there is a generally more relaxed atmosphere than in the other big cities. Maybe it's something to do with the place being a seaside resort.
A visit to the hairdresser
by mango13
All over Nha Trang, you'll find hairdressers do more than dressing hairs. You can get a massage (without naughty extras... alas *wink*), a face massage, a manicure, you can get your ears cleaned, ... In case you wanna get cleaned up after another dusty ride, the hairdresser is your man.
Local Market
by jmmorgan
Why do tourists never seem to visit the local markets?
We spent an amazing time wandering around the labyrinthine market. The people were so friendly and happy to explain some of the more exotic species of fruits and vegetables to us.
A place where you can learn about a culture and a way of life.
The town of Nha Trang
by bumpychick
Nha Trang is the most popular beach resort in Vietnam, but it has other things to offer! There aren't many touristy shops, but the few there are sell souveniers at very cheap prices. There is a 'boulavard' along the sea front, where you can take a cooling walk. The temple 'Thap Ba Po Nagar' is worth a visit, affording great views at the top. We hired mountain bikes to get around. It was rather scarey trying to cope with the other traffic, but you definitely feel a sense of achievement when you manage to get to where you want to go!
Boat tour on the islands
by mango13
Go book a tour on one of the many trips to the islands that are shattered in South China Sea, just East of Nha Trang. Don't expect to see anything worldshocking, but enjoy the snorkelling, swimming & drinking.
