I stayed in La Suisse Hotel during the weekend after Tet, and they had increased their rates accordingly. Hotel rooms were hard to find in Nha Trang that weekend and those hotels that had any vacancies were all jacking up their prices.
Anyway, it was a really nice hotel and the room was spacious and comfortable.
It's a lttle bit back from the beach road of Tran Phu, so there's no sea view.
Hi we are off to Nha Trang in June/July for 10 nights of doing nothing but lazing on the beach or by the pool. My question is anyone stayed at The Dream Hotel?? Looks nice, clean and a price that is right for us but we would have to spend money every day on the beach the water park or Louisianna's just to have a swim or should we spend a little extra and stay at Hai Yen Hotel which has a swimming pool but looks a little dated. Anyone stayed at either of these places any comments would be appreciated even from people who have just been into reception or eaten at their restaurants any comments would be helpful.
I walked past it and have stayed at the nearby La Suisse Hotel and 62 Tran Phu.That water park is a bit of an eyesore and it gets packed with local families. It's not used much by foreign tourists. There is a beautiful resort hotel with chalets right on the beach, a bit farther down, past the water park. I'll see if I can find the name of it for you.How much are you per nightpaying for the Dream? Rates in Nha Trang are negotiable and vary a lot depending on the time of year.
That place is called the Ana Mandara Resort. It's expensive by Nha Trang standards, but beautiful. Not only is it right on the beach, which is unusual in Nha Trang, as 99% of the hotels are on the other side of the Tran Phu, but it also has a great swimming pool.
If you are looking for something much cheaper, but with a great location, 62 Tran Phu is reasonable.
i stayed on the beach a while back (around 5 years ago now)...i'm sure things have changed since as with all of vietnam. but i don't remember the hotel that we stayed at to be over $5...we simply walked across the street and into the beach.
There are loads on the other side of Tran Phu (the beach road).I've stayed there too. But that resort is the only one on the beach itself.
Ana Mandara dream on LOL maybe we can sneak in and use their pool!!! wouldnt be the first time we have stayed downmarket and sneaked into 5* resorts to use their facilities!!! Love your NT pages bought back loads of memories can't wait for our trip
