Booking online or there at vietnam?
heya people!!
Me and my bf are going to vietnam in october this year.. (8 weeks to go and counting yippie) and ive been on the net ALLOT doin my research....
Ive found soo many hotels in vietnam but with most hotels im interested in theres not many photos... so im wondering if it is better to book online or decide when i get there?
any feedback??
p.s - if anyone has stayed at the below places and recommend any good comfortable hotels ($US 10-30O) feel free to give me your opinions!!!

Hi, It's some years now since I toured Vietnam but at the time there were many good quality hotels both just finished and nearing completion. New World Hotel is one of the best. I dont think you will have trouble finding a good one in HCM city at the top end of the prices you quote. There used to be a Floating Hotel which was very nice indeed but dont know if it is still there or not. Avoid drinking at pavement bars. It can lead to trouble. The hotel situation outside of HCM is different. You will have to look when you get there I think. Some good ones some bad ones. The cheap government owned hotels were the worst. Good luck with your trip.

In Hochiminh city you would try Que Huong hotel group. They have about 5 hotels and from 20 to 50 USD.
Mekong delta i dont really know
Nha trang : I stayed in Dream hotel which is not bad, about 20 US pernite also
Hue Huong Giang or Morin hotel
Hoi An, Thien Thanh hotel from 12 to 25 US
Halong bay you should book tour and stay over nite on boat that is more interesting
Sapa you could try victoria hotel.
