Muong Thanh.: State hotel !!!!

While the surrounds of the hotel are in a good state, clean nice gardens,tennis court and pools but once you get inside it instantly changes. The tiling on the floor of the hall is cracked and broken. In the room there is mold and damp showing through the wallpaper in most parts of the room, there is a two-inch gap between bathtub and wall so no matter what you try the floor soon becomes awash with water. At least the kettle worked and the bed wasn't bad.
Further, the restaurant was a fair walk from the main building and you get the sight of a rather large crocodile giving you the eye from the pond beneath. If you are not down for breakfast by 8 °'clock there is virtually nothing left and they don't replenish anything that is finished. Fortunately the staff are a cut above the rest of the hotel.

Just a hint : The "massage" parlour seems to employ staff that seem to be dressed and have the attitude of an entirely different role.
