Empress Hotel

We did not stay at this hotel but were in a group of 27 people and they all were accommodated for 3 nights at the Empress. Most said their rooms were good 3 star accommodation, some said they had "slow running drains".

The room I saw was spacious and the furnishings looked Ok, however most furnishings were old and did not make a fashion statement. We had a party in this room and over 20 people attended, a little crowded but still room to move. The group thought it was good value for money and it is in a prime location overlooking the lake and less than 5 minutes walk to the central market, shops and restaurants.
