AIT SAPA HOTEL: chilled out hotel with wonderful views
This hotel is on the outskirts of the town, but it is only about 5-10 minutes walking distance so it is not that far away. The accomodation consists of individual chalets which are built out of wood and on stilts. all of the chalets have large windows and view of the fabulous rose garden and the absolutely stunning mountains. The views are out of this world. The prices range from $18 for a twin room (please check updated prices) and $35 for the VIP chalet where I stayed, which has a living room, bedroom and bathroom. The only catch is that there is not always hot water (this happens in many hotels!!) so make sure that you ask them to put the water on (about 30 minutes before). It´s got a lovely open air bar which has views of the mountains. All in all it´s a very quite location, so not for the fun loving party animals. But if what you´re after is peace and quite and magnificant views then this is the place for you. I couldn´t find a website or phone number for it, but I have included a page through which you can book the hotel.
In my opinion it has the best views in Sapa, and is a self professed eco-centric hotel.

Camellia Guest House: No Air/Con needed up here
This place is somewhat between a budget hotel and guesthouse. Very affordable and friendly staff + you can also ask for discounted internet connection. The hotel offers motorbike for rent and guided tour around Sapa.
