Adequate 1* accomodation
Cannot check in before 12 noon despite the fact that 90per cent of visitors arive on the night train from Hanoi which means they arrive in sapa at approx 7.00am completely exhausted and desperate to sleep!!
On our arrrival staff were not very welcoming or helpful though they did allow us to leave or luggage for a few hours until we coul dcheck in.
room was ok; decent size but bathroom was a bit grubby and very basic. No seperate shower cubicle which meant floor got wet - inconvenient!
Door lock did not appear to be secure which was rather disconcerting.
Close to town centre and all amenities(few and far between)
On the whole ok but there must be more comfortable hotels in sapa?
Would not choose to stay there again.
Unique Quality: all pine interior decoration of bedroom!!
