Security Security anyone seen my wallet
Seems Nice from the welcome drink to the Buffet style Breakfast with Corn and Ham as well as French Fries. The pool is refreshing . But during my stay in August 2009 some guests said they caught the maids going through there bags. And some did not have hot water. The welcome fruit basket is just a bunch of rotten fruit. I would rather they serve the fruit in the Morning. Scooter rental on site , but i would rather just take a taxi to the beach , now I personally would rather go were the locals go , but the Taxi's drop you off at the Tourist beach. Where everything costs $$$ where as where the locals are you get fresh coconut milk drinks for 45 cents usd . Its a good hotel for 20-25 per night , but is 10 min walk from Market ,20 min walk from old city , and 40 minute walk to the beach , or take a taxi for 2.00 usd each way ...

recommended hotel in Hoi An
My husband and I are staying in the Greenfields Hotel in Hoi An and are very happy with it. There is a pool, great breakfast, cable TV, fridge and complimentary fruit basket every day. We have a balcony overlooking the pool. Unfortunately we have caught the end of the rainy season and it has rained every day. Everything is clean. We are paying $20. The staff could not be more helpful. Free internet in the mornings.
There are also extremely cheap budget rooms/dorms from I think 3$. Travel booking agents in the foyer. It is a short walk to town or 14000 dong by taxi and 2kms to the beach. If the sun was only shining it would be brilliant but I don't think the staff can do anything about that but I believe they would it they could.
Unique Quality: The pool is extremely nice with loungers and safe for children

On the way to the beach, seems to be one of the nicest choise for these price.
