The bathrooms are really nice, blending a modern feel with earthy, native touches in the way of dishes and bowls. The shower is particularly funky, with a huge shower rose above you, or a fierce hand-held option.
The rooms have AC and a nice ceiling fan. All are equipped with ADSL (free – get a cable from reception if you need one) and there is free wifi around the pool. There are also complimentary tea and coffee facilities.
Our room looked onto the pool which was very nice and modern again, with lots of shaded loungers available, although it wasn’t particularly deep.
The breakfast buffet, while not huge, was more than sufficient, and high quality.
Just outside the hotel on the main drive you will find some ladies who will do your laundry for about half the price charged by the hotel, and they do a great job.
The location, so close to the town but still so secluded and peaceful is what sealed it for me.
