Great spot and staff very happy to talk and help organise anything you need: travel, rental. I would recommend this place on the room alone for the price. The staff make it welcoming even more.
One thing to be aware of, is that it's a little walk (10 mins or so) into the main area of restaurants and tourist shops. There are other hotels closer, but we didn't find this a problem - anyway, they rent bicycles for a $1 a day.
The courtyard is a nice quiet space away from the streets. Small pool good enough for a dip.
A rooster out the back provides a morning wake-up call possibly a little too early!
