Resort by the riverside
This Hotel is situated across the bridge from the main side of the town, don't worry about that, as its only a few minutes walk to get to town.
It was clean, except for a filthy shower curtain, and the bathmat needed to be thrown out.
The mattress was just a foam one, not innerspring. The power point was loose and dangerous, and you could only have the fridge or the television on, not both!!!!! In the bathroom, there was a hole with something dangling out of it, also a hole in the main room. Fresh fruit was left in the room each morning, I really liked this idea.
The best part were the lovely gardens and the outdoor setting, very nice. There is also a pool.
Breakfast was a buffet, which was nice. How lovely to sit outside and watch the goings on, on the River.
A taxi to the airport was $15 as opposed to $10 to $12.
Laundry was priced per item making it expensive, most things were expensive here. It was not worth the money I paid.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it is overpriced, and the rooms need seeing to.
I have stayed at others in Vietnam for half the price and better and cleaner.

Very quiet clean & comfortable hotel just across the bridge from the town centre. The staff were very keen to chat as are most of the hotel staff in Vietnam. The Sinh Cafe bus picked us up from here the following morning. The rooms had twin beds, air con and clean bathrooms with western style toilets.
Unique Quality: I think all rooms have acess to the balcony and you can see across the river into the market and town. They have a lovely garden restaurant we had breakfast included which was served in the garden restaurant.

Accommodation with 3 kids
Hi, can anybody recommend a good hotel that will have room for 2 adults and 3 kids. Most hotels seem to only stop at one kid and others 2 maximum. Am travelling to Hoi An towards the end of September. Kids are 10, 9 and 6 yrs. thanks.

Here are two nice hotels in Hoi An. The are in the town. If you are looking for beach hotels you can easily find them online. The big beach hotels should be able to help you.

Rooms in the town of Hoi An are very cheap, 10 to 20 dollars. You can always buy a second room for the older kids. Many times they also come with free breakfast, so you can get the room for the price of breakfast in the USA.

it's better if you can get a connecting room or a family suite (often has 2 bedrooms and you can put in another extra bed).
Recommend Vinh Hung resort for connecting room.

The PHO HOI RIVERSIDE RESORT has family rooms and Bungalows set in a lovely tropical setting on the edge of the river. A nice buffet breakfast is included and there is fresh fruit in your room daily. It also has a swimming pool. I stayed in a cheap room in the main building, which had some complaints, but there is all types of accommodation available here.
