This cute resort is on middle way from town to beach. Belongs to Khai Silk, Riverside seems focus on little details of decoration. Except its location, there is nothing that you can complain about. Great stay!
This hotel is by the river, about 3 km from the ancient town. Transportation to and from the town is very easy (hotel has shuttle or about US$2-3 by taxi). This was important as it was much much cheaper to eat in town. So except for breakfast, we didn't eat at the hotel. Hotel grounds were beautifully landscaped and staff were very friendly and tried to accomodate any requests as best as they could. Facilities were usual of a typical 4* hotel in Asia. Command of English of the staff is rather good. We stayed in the deluxe room which was very very nice. We had a peep at the superior room and it also looked pretty comfortable (except that it was smaller and did not have a view of the river.) For those who like the beach, the hotel has a private stretch on Cua Dai beach, which is served by hotel shuttle twice a day. [Hotel shuttle schedule is on their website.] This is a nice quiet place to relax, but yet convenient for taking in the sights of the old town. [Got quite a competitive rate through asiarooms.com]

Riverside resort room

Some friends of mine had made several visits to Hoi An and were constantly scouting someplace to get some quality R&R from long hard work days down south.
One of the visits I made with them found ourselves checking out the Riverside Resort. The quality and value for the money may be found at comparable hotels in the area, but all of us were quite satisfied with the stay.
The rooms were a bit on the pricey side, but there were very spaceous, clear and everything worked quite well. Upon check-in, our rooms were already cool with A/C and had a fruit basket waiting for us.
The hotel offers a free buffet breakfast. In the rooms, upon check-in there is a fruit basket. The pool is very clean and fresh. Hygiene of the pool is one of the best I've seen without being saturated with chemicals.
Immediately across the street is a cafe where if you have good negotiation skills, you can rent a scooter for 100,000 VND / day.
Hoi an Riverside resort (4 star) occupies 9,000 square metres of lush, tropical gardens and landscaped terraces is situated on the bank of Do River along the banks of the Song Do river 1 km from the Cua Dai Beach, 3 km from the ancient town Hoi An The resort is an ideal base for travelers to Hoian ancient town (there is scheduled bus transfer). Its bungalows and rooms (in different styles), have private balcony overlooking panoramic views of the river or garden, rice fields. The room was not that big but tastefully decorated with a large bathroom (indeed beautiful with its rustic atmoshere....having a shower under a candle light!!) There is a swimming pool perfectly clean and a nice dining area near the river. It takes 40 minutes from Danang International Airport to reach the Hotel (and around 250,000VND). Prices on the internet range from 75$ and onwards but it really worths the money. The best accommodation we had in Vietnam.
Small decorative details made it special: small flowers everywhere
