HUE'S MOST MASSIVE

This huge massive hotel along Highway 1 just on the southern edge of the old New City seemed a bit incongruous for a team of people whose goal is to provide health care to some of the poorest people in Vietnam, but stay here we did. The group leader said he got a great deal on the place, so … The hotel is Hue’s newest and probably biggest as well. Being so new and big, they did seem to be having a little problem keeping it full, hence the big discounts. Being located a ways from the tourist centers of the New City meant you had the feeling of being a bit isolated, having to take a taxi whenever you wanted to go anywhere. The rooms and staff were first rate. The pool was nice and warm and the restaurant rates were quite inflated.
