We stayed 2 nights at US$10 a night for 4 beds in a 4th flr room with AC & TV. We got it at this price after fellow M"sians wanted another room for a night. Initial price was US$14. Water pressure was low, the water heater didn't work bec of the pressure & the fan couldn't rotate. They fixed all after we complained.

We enquired about the cultural show on dragon boat but didn't book. The lady owner became unfriendly.

We only got our laundry 36 hrs later although they promised 1/2 day only. The fried noodle in their cafe was too salty. After heavy rain one night, the lane in front of the hotel had ankle-deep water & the main road leading to it had thigh-high water. And it rains often in Hue!

We paid for four train berths (2 in level 1 & 2 in level 2) in one cabin. On the morning of departure, they gave us 4 berths in level 2 & in 2 separate cabins. You can't sit up in level 2 berths bec they are in the upper level. We would have to travel 18 hrs that way! Initially we should have specify that we would not take the tickets if they were wrong & we should have not paid in full when booking. In the end, I bought a flight ticket. My friends who chose to take the train had to wait in the heavy rain at the road side for the taxi (booked thru hotel). In the end, their taxi never turned up & they had to rush to the train station on motor bikes. They were all drenched. Luckily their train was late.

Unique Quality: Clean and 5 mins walk to Perfume River.

Cost of laundry was 10,000 Dong 1 kg which was rather cheap after our experiences in Hanoi & Sapa. But our laundry didn't smell clean.
