Trang Tien bridge at night from the hotel.

Rather pretentious when you walk in to the hall but the staff soon cool you down. Although not rude, just seemed to do the necessary(like give you your key etc.) and that's all. No smile, no real welcome. Perhaps this is one of those state run hotels. On the upside was certainly the cleanliness of the room, a balcony that overlooked the river and reasonably cheap.
Directions: Just across the bridge at the end of Le Loi st, about 1 km from the Trang Tien bridge that crosses the Perfumed river to the Imperial city.
