The hotel is owned by the richest man on the island. He runs the local construction company. He also built the entire hotel himself. My room did have television, air conditioning, telephone, and it's own bathroom. There is a swimming pool. The hotel is a little hard to find. I drove by the road to it four times before I finally found it. There is a grocery store within walking distance. This did come in very handy. The people were friendly but avoided you for the most part. They did provide breakfast in the morning. Coffee, juice, cereal, and a fantastic local bread. On the downside, keep your shoes near the bed. I did have small black worms come up through the tiling in the morning and the little lizards do run around on everything.
Very secluded. Just on the fringes of the village of Vaitogi. The pool is in good repair but not really used. The house telephone was tied into all the rooms. Seems to ring about 3 AM. The Vaitogi Inn is a very nice establishment. A lot of care was put into it's construction, and it is well maintained. Take the road slowly and watch out for the buses. go about two blocks and take the right. follow the road all the way to the hotel.
