  • This is your basic 3 star motel. The people that run both it and the hostel next door are very helpful and friendly and the units are average. The mini bar is well stocked and the units are clean, if not spacious. There's a dated look about the exterior but, rather obviously, that's no where you're staying. Good off street car parking and the usual breakfasts are available. I find it convenient for the western shore attractions, such as Parliament House, Art Gallery etc., as they are all just up the road apiece.

    Though it doesn't have its own restaurant, this is not a disadvantage here as, right behind the motel and a very short walk across the carpark, there are heaps of restaurants to choose from, most of very good quality. There's a locked gate and fence you have to go through to get there but your room key fits the lock so it's not a problem and gives the motel carpark some security.

  • This is just a basic motel room, but close to a lot of amenities such as the Kingston shops (through a gate at the rear of the motel), Manuka, and not far from Parialment house. If you don't need to spend much time in your room, this is fine.

    Nothing to write a glowing report about.
