We were expecting it to be a real four star hotel as itwas rated by the NRMA (local motoring body in Australia). However, we were quite disappointed! We've been in better accommodation which were rated just two or three stars even!
It doesn't deserve the 4 star rating ( my hubby agreed with me) based on our experience there!
Staff was not very friendly for one!
Our stay was not much to crow about! The room/s were cramped, it was a tight squeeze for the four of us. I was trying to book the one with a spa but I was told nothing available at that time. This family room was the one suggested to me and I wished I didn't agree!
The carpets were a bit worn out! The jacuzzi was with the gym equipment in a little room near our room in the second floor if I remember right. it is just really a tiny place everywhere! To this day, we wonder how it got a 4 star rating!
The only saving grace was the food which was decent enough (we ordered room service) but I didn't get my real order for dessert- it was replaced! (Our Japanese accommodation for the same price was much better, service and food wide!)We stayed and prepaid for only two nights, thank goodness!
In the past we stayed at Best Western or Rydges Capital Hill which had better service!
