Very central and has all the amenities
We booked this hotel for a family weekend visit to Canberra to see our son. Two bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, including master bathroom spa (which was not used, due to current water situation), and spacious open living area, with lounge and dining facilities, made it very comfortable accommodation for 4 adults. There was also a fold-out sofa to sleep additional members if needed.
The suite was fully self contained, with washing machine and clothes dryer, as well as the full range of kitchen needs. There were also well priced breakfast packs available for purchase in the hotel.
Best thing for even the grown up kids, was the fact that there is a McDonalds, including McCafe restaurant on the ground of the hotel. This meant that the adults could have a half reasonable cup of coffee as well!
The hotel is on a busy corner, but we were not bothered by the traffic noise at all.

Good Business Hotel
Located at Northbourne Avenue in the Civic area, this is a serviced apartment for visiting business people. It's a 4.5 star hotel so the rooms and services are good.
Get the room with the balcony facing Mt Ainslie or the Telstra Tower. Some units have 2 bedrooms ensuite bathroom with spa.
Unique Quality: convenient location that's close to the Civic area
small pool but great views of Mt Ainslie if your room faces in that direction
