Tourist Hotel with short stay facilities
Newly renamed the All Seasons Oasis this hotel is a bit of a disappointment for the chain.
My stay here was over 4 nights in 4 different rooms due to it being a combination of pre, start, end and post tour.
Some of the rooms are in need of refurbishment, and new coat of paint.
Unfortunately my largest brickbat goes to the kitchen. The restuarant was horrendous. Pizza tasted like the frozen variety, and the Thai Beef salad was little more than sweet chilli drenched tossed salad.
Of note I sent off a complaint to the hotel to which I received a prompt and promising response. They assure me a new chef starts at the end of May 2005. So things may be looking up.
Unique Quality: The Pool in the centre of the main area is faitly large. Alas it was too cold. With inland temperatures dropping so low at night, and a shade cloth protecting one against the harsh sun the pool isn't welcoming at all. At least it looks good.
