OK place to stay
I found the Alatai Apartments to be adequate. The rooms were simple, fresh, not that well equiped, (the kitchenette comprised of a toaster, jug, electric frypan, microwave and fridge) but a very big plus would be the presence of a non metered washing machine and dryer in each unit.
The pool is great. There is a bottle store within 100 metres, and petrol station that sells basic groceries within 100 metres. Supermarkets and the CBD are only 20 mins walk away.
The complex also includes a licences chinese restaurant (which I did not try.)
Breakfast there is $8.00 and really not worth it.
Unique Quality: Washing machine and dryer in unit.
