THEY TOOK OUR $$$ 6 weeks later cancelled because they had a better booking. (owner confessed this on the phone)
then they claimed hotels.com were frauds as they didn;'t have the right to make the booking (despite the fact the booking had been confirmed by Asti). And is hotels.com didn't have the right to make the bookings then why did they take our bookings prior to their 'better booking.'
We still need our upfront payment and now have only a couple of days to find accomodation-

I've stayed in the Asti many times and have been very pleased with the accommodation.
Unique Quality: There's a good sized swimming pool, restaurant on premises and it's within easy walking distance from the city. But it's very quiet, unlike some of the more central places.

Comfort Inn Asti Darwin is reasonable. I would not suggest Holiday Inn for the price. Palms City Resort would be my first suggestion followed by the Travelodge Mirambeena Resort Darwin is good for the price and has lovely gardens. If you are looking for quality places those would be my 2 suggestions.
There's a good sized swimming pool, restaurant on premises and it's within easy walking distance from the city. But it's very quiet, unlike some of the more central places.
