Home away from home

Would really recommend Bed & Breakfast accomodation in Darwin. As it's an easy city to get around ( providing you have a car) you are never more than 10 - 15 minutes away from anywhere so you really don't need to be right in the thick of it.

Unique Quality: Nightcliffe is a good area with the Sunday markets and shopping centre just across the road. The walk around the foreshore early in the morning is particularly nice and it is only about 7 minutes from the airport.
Red Lily has it's own two storey accomodation seperate to the house. Upstairs the top floor is all bedroom, bathroom and walk in robe with a large balcony overlooking the pool. Downstairs is the lounge and kitchen area with french doors leading to the pool and outdoor area with barbeque etc. They also have one room attached to the house that would be fine for a shorter stay.
Bung and Joy are the hosts and they don't mind a drink on a hot day. Every day is hot in Darwin. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home. Joys breakfasts are the best and the biggest. She actually turned me on to Mango's - a fruit it had previously thought over rated but the pink numbers in Darwin are sensational. The price was reasonable - around the same as a mid price hotel but much more convenient and relaxed. We loved it! Loved their number plates too Joys car was "JUMFA" & Bungs trailer was "2DUMP".
