Close to Airport but you need a car for city trips

I enjoyed my stay here but it was a bit far out of town and only a shuttle service twice a day.

The accomodation was lovely, the grounds are nice and the pool was great.

If you only have a day here, or an overnight stop it's a great place to stay. If you have transport it is also a nice place as you can get whereever you want to go quickly and easily. Without a car you have only the hotel shuttle into Darwin city or, like me, you can go across to the airport and catch the city shuttle into town. Both have limitations as they only go to one stop.

There is also no food outlets nearby so you have to eat here or maybe at the Chinese at the Airport Hotel next door.

It's not a loud, noisy hotel; great for kids too.

Unique Quality: A lovely restaurant overlooking the pool but it was expensive. The bar is OK too.

Darwin Airport Hotel

The Darwin Airport resort hotel is ideal is you need to stay close to Darwin Airport. Pleasant restaurant and bar. There are Business and Executive Suites, rooms are comfortable and well equiped. There is also a swimming pool. Very friendly staff.

Unique Quality: The Darwin Airport Resort is just a few hundred meters from the airport at Darwin at the Top End of Australia, as the locals call it. Although the city of Darwin is not far away as some flights arrive in the early hours or depart around daybreak the Darwin Airport resort is ideal if you come off a flight late or need a hotel at the airport for an early departure.

Only a short stroll from the airport...

The Darwin Airport Resort is about 350m from Darwin International Airport but a 20 minute drive from town.

There are lush tropical and all the amenities you would expect from an international 5 star resort. There's a pool spa, gym, bar and a good restaurant.

Accommodation is in bigger than average rooms and some are self contained with kitchenette. Most rooms have wide screen plasma tv's as well.
