Great reasonably priced Lodge & campground
This lodge is located on the edge of Jabiru township. There is all types of accommodation, including 13 self contained Cabins, 32 air conditioned lodge rooms, 186 powered caravan sites, and a 100 unpowered camping sites. We stayed in a lodge room that is basic, cheap accommodation in this area, and found it to be quite O.K. Lawns, trees, Laundry, Irons, Bistro, and a nice swimming pool, we were very happy with our stay here, and look forward to a return stay.

Sleeping in the wild
I visited Kakadu National Park with a tour, Kakadu Dreams. We were there for two full days and it was absolutely amazing. I took a tour because I didn't have a 4WD, you'll need it to get to most places. Our tour guide was like a younger version of Steve Irwin, stopping for all the wildlife, picking it up to show it to us. At night we had a barbie in the bush and we slept in small mosquito tents and learned how to play the didgeridoo. At night we heard the dingoes howl. We also took a night trip to see crocs.
