Hi, what are good sources on the funding of an epic journey?
Such as travelling the world entierly by sea or land.... only by vehicles such as trains, cars, or horses or camels.
Or to set some sort of world record. Or anything of the sort. Any record breaking activity.
If anyone knows of any organisations or people which should be contacted regarding a journey of this nature, please contact me! :)

if you want to sell your story you will have to do something original that no other people have done before.
it dosent have to be that hard as long as it is entertaining.
i am on a trip right now that is partly funded by articles that i write about it.
i am cycling from denmark to georgia to see a world cup qualifying football match between denmark and georgia.
the media have bought that one because it combines travel with the most popular sport in denmark.
look at a guy like tony hawks.
he bacame a millionare because he hitch hiked around ireand with a fridge and went to moldova to beat the entire national football team in tennis.
this guy does some really nutty things that are not that hard really but he sells them well.
very inspirational guy.
Just be in the life for one day of a Typical Bankstowner. It's not that bad is it? Bankstown has some cool architecture, like its Churches, and commercial buildings. Though Bankstown doesn't have a distinguished skyline yet. Well i Live Here, not much more to say.

The Cooks River runs through areas of Bankstown and Minutes away from the city center. You have some nice discreet walks across the river. Though the water quality isn't great. It's still good for a breath of morning fresh air- from the Bankstown traffic.
I live around 2 minutes away from the Small City of Bankstown. Around 20 minute drive to Sydney.
I have lived in the Bankstown area for a very long time. I am well adjusted to it, although Bankstown is a "Western" suburb (Not highly praised area)- it isn't as bad as it seems.
Bankstown is a pretty cool mini city. It's got its own China-Town- some great parks. A Nice big library, a large Shopping Centre, lots of Transport though one bad reputation with the area is that its Crime Ridden .
Sure it isn't as lush as Sydneys Northern Suburbs. I mean it is a very concreted area, with a large majority of people coming from China, Lebanon, Greece. It's Multiculturism adds to the flavour of the place.
I wont call Bankstown a Tourist "Hot Spot" or anything of the like. Though it is an area that is pretty good to live in or rent in. It's cheap and is very convinient being close to the city and i love it.
20/2/04- Colonia is a Croatian Techno/trance band that have made it far and wide around the world and to my ultimate dream they came to a club that is a few minutes walk from my house! Here are the pics!
