Facilities are fairly standard and the prices expensive!!!!! family of 5 (dad, mum, 7yo, 5yo & 1yo) $65 a night BYO camper trailer!!!! and on a 4 inch bed of pine bark chips, we where going to stay a few nights but not at these prices and service

Another Great Caravan Park!

This park was one of the nicest ones we stayed at with modern and well looked after facilities, the park was spacious, clean and tidy throughout! As it is on the edge of town it is a very quiet location and also not very busy.

I can't really comment on the accommodation because we had our campervan, but the tent area seemed nice and the cabins looked very nice as well, with prices being at the low average scale for a place like this

Unique Quality: There are plenty of facilities here including a large and well kept solar heated (perhaps a euphemism for an outdoor pool!?) swimming pool, as well as a well equipped camp kitchen and a couple of great BBQ areas with bench seating.

We shared a great fry up and swapped stories with a couple of women who were making the long trek home after seeing the total solar eclipse (we saw it as a partial one back in Parkes!) in South Australia.

There are also a well stocked shop, clean amenities blocks with great showers, a couple of playgrounds for children and disabled facilities in the centre of the park.

Also in december, the trees act as staging posts for hundreds of Galahs to congregate before flying off at dusk for destinations unknown...
