Family friendly and friendly staff
Stayed for several days in May-June 2011. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is definitely a family oriented hotel. I would recommend it for parents with young kids. I would not recommend it to anyone looking to set up a party room. Noisy group upstairs who kept the party going until 4 am were kicked out in the morning (to our great relief!) and staff apologised to us.
Loved that the beach was a short walk out the back gate.
Staff were accommodating in storing luggage before and after checkout.
Unique Quality: Nice little heated pool for splashing around if the surf is too much for little ones. Rooms are outfitted with full kitchens and clotheswasher/dryer in the bathroom.
Excellent location - short walk along a path takes you right to the beach. 5 minute walk (if that) to Byron shops and restaurants.
