Very Good Stopover

Stayed here over the Xmas holidays and New Year visiting friends in Coffs Harbour. We booked a standard motel room and for the final week upgraded to a self contained Villa with a great little kitchen. Considering it was holiday season we were very happy with the tariff and saved a small fortune on takeouts. The Staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Unique Quality: Very private in the Villas at the back of the motel. BBQ area excellent. Pool can get very busy but we used this area mid afternoon. Well away from pedestrian traffic being on the South side of Coffs.

Good Pitstop

My partner and I decided to make the long trek to Australia in July this year as we have a number of ex pat friends dotted around Qld and NSW. The exchange rate was not the best Sterling to Aussie Dollars so we had to trim our budget accordingly. I managed to book most of our accommodation on the internet so we knew what to expect. Arrived in Sydney and did the usual things expected of a tourist for the first week then rented a car and headed North to Cairns. Wow this is a big country! We had 5 days left before we had to return to Sydney so we settled in Coffs Harbour and booked a self contained 1 Bedroom Villa at the Arosa. We found it to be ideal for us and saved a fortune on take out food. Most nights we took over the BBQ area much to the annoyance of some of the guests who had kids to feed. Found this place to be ideal to chill out and considering the tariff very good value. Next stop was New Zealand where we found some rather unusual places to lay our weary heads.

Unique Quality: BBQ area excellent and well away from highway. Pool area nice but can get a bit crowded when busy.Really nice cottage style Villas at back of motel.
